Hi Everyone! Starting March 28th, I will be working in the Canadian Pavilion at EPCOT for a year, as a cultural representative, participating in the W.D.W. International Program. If you are ever visiting WDW in the next year, be sure to email me and drop by EPCOT's Canadian Pavilion to say hi. Thank you for visiting my site, and I hope you enjoy my Florida experience, as much as I do.

Leaving the Keys, Bahia Honda St. Park, Miami

On our way out of the Keys we decided to stop at Bahia Honda State Park which is known as one of the best beaches in the keys. "Henry Flagler's railroad to Key West turned the remote island of Bahia Honda Key into a tropical destination. Today, the island is home to one of Florida's southernmost state parks, known for beautiful beaches, magnificent sunsets, and excellent snorkeling."
The old railroad bridge serves as a reminder of the past, and now for a panoramic overlook.
The Overseas Highway (7 mile bridge):
We went to South Beach for dinner at Cafe Med:
Our trip to the Keys was an amazing time. We did so much, stayed at the best place in Key West, rented a convertable, went Snorkeling, rented Wave Runners, went Parasailing, went on a Sunset Cruise, went to South Beach twice, EVERYTHING! Thank you so much Mom, Dad, Grandma, and Nana for your support (and Visa, but not Sun Trust).

This was just a sample. I have posted all of my pictures, as well as Pierre-Luc's, into two galleries on my Smugmug: http://mickeyslittlehelper.smugmug.com/Travel/166483

My next planned adventure is to see the shuttle launch whenever they decide to do it, if I can get the time off. As of right now I am working the next 8 days straight. Stay tuned. :) Posted by Picasa

Duval St., Storm, Parasailing

Late on our last night a big rain storm moved in, we watched the lightning storm in the distance from a hammock on the beach for a while, then out of nowhere a huge rain storm moved in.
We went in tandem, me and Pierre-Luc, Christine and Lisa.

Keys Con't 2

Sorry for the delay, but the rest of my pictures from the keys are all up. A few things have been eating up a lot of my time lately, work (food running), and Ernesto. So lets con't the tour :)

We went to a beach that is farther south than the military base on the southern tip, farther than the marker (as far south at you can physically get). Notice how the tress are all bent from past storms:
The highway sign, and yes, a pink taxi:
The four of us went Scuba diving at the largest coral reef in the United States, the third largest living organism in the world. The depth of the water is anywhere from 1 inch to 30 feet or so. If you are not careful you could get slammed right into the coral, which would really hurt, and nearly happened to me.
We saw tons of neat fish up close (including Chirstine and Lisa):

We also decided to do a special package that combined Wave Running, Snorkeling, and Parasailing.

Star Island & Palm Island

As we were leaving South Beach we drove past Star Island and Palm Island which we decided to check out. They are both very nice private islands, but security allowed us in to take pictures! :)

Orlando to South Beach

Ok, be prepared for a mass update. I will be including some of the best pictures taken by myself and Pierre-Luc. The pictures will all try to be blended together.

We left Orlando at 4am to get to South Beach (Miami) for breakfast. We had an interesting meal at the Pelican, and we managed to see a filming of a Honda commercial as we were having breakfast, and again on another street as we headed back to the car.
