Shuttle Concerns..... Launch July 4th!

Monday morning, Nasa crews had concerns with a piece of the outer shell foam falling off. This was possibly a reason to scrub the launch for a longer period of time.....

However, with a weather forecast of 80% go for launch, Candice, Gary, Tanis, and myself headed to the space coast to watch the 2:38 launch, from Jetty Park (Cape Canaveral).

It was very cool to see it take off (and feel it), but then to hear it about 3 min later... Very cool
